Crypt Neuter(1/18)
Lately the clinic hasn't been very busy. I've been trying to help here and there by filling up bottles of alcohol, chlorhex, and ear cleaner. These are small jobs, but can be very beneficial because they are time consuming for techs. We also had a little shitzu neuter that was a cyrptorchid. Which means only one of his testicles dropped, so to do the neuter the vet has to search through the abdomen for the retained testicle. The picture shows the one that dropped and the one that didn't (the smaller one was retained). It is very important to get the retained testicle because it is a big risk for cancer.
