Pregnant Kitty

This is a picture of an in house heart worm test. The one in this picture is showing that the patient was negative for heart worm because it only has one line. I learned how to do these tests, you need way less blood for these tests then when they have to send the blood out to a lab. Because of this they only use these when the patient is being hard when trying to draw blood. Another cool thing I got to experience today was a cat that came in because the owner though she was pregnant. I got to see the ultrasound of this pregnant kitty and it was adorable. You could see the little skeletons and it even looked like the babies were playing with each other in the womb.
